Privacy Policy
Last Updated: November 4, 2025
1. Introduction
Gone.wtf ("we," "our," or "the Service") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our decentralized privacy service built on the Solana blockchain.
Key Point: Gone.wtf is designed to minimize data collection. We do not collect personal information, and we operate as a non-custodial service that never has access to your funds.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
Gone.wtf does NOT collect, store, or process:
- Personal identifying information (name, email, phone number, address)
- Account credentials or passwords
- Wallet withdrawal credentials or seed phrases
- Withdrawal notes (these are generated client-side and never sent to our servers)
- Transaction history linked to identities
- IP address logs linked to specific transactions
- Payment information (we don't process payments; transactions occur on-chain)
3. Information That May Be Processed
The following technical information may be temporarily processed:
3.1 Blockchain Data
All transactions are recorded on the public Solana blockchain. This includes:
- Wallet addresses involved in transactions
- Transaction amounts
- Transaction timestamps
- Smart contract interactions
Important: This data is public and permanent on the blockchain. Gone.wtf does not control or store this data—it exists independently on the Solana network.
3.2 Technical Usage Data
For service operation and improvement, we may temporarily process:
- Browser type and version
- Operating system
- General geographic location (country-level only)
- Pages visited and features used
- Error logs for debugging
This data is aggregated, anonymized, and not linked to specific transactions or identities.
3.3 RPC and API Requests
When you interact with the Service, your browser makes requests to Solana RPC endpoints and our API. These requests may temporarily include:
- Transaction data for processing
- Wallet addresses for balance queries
- Request timestamps
This data is processed in real-time and not permanently stored or linked to your identity.
4. How We Use Information
Any information that is temporarily processed is used solely to:
- Facilitate blockchain transactions through our smart contracts
- Provide and maintain the Service functionality
- Monitor system performance and uptime
- Debug technical issues and errors
- Improve the user interface and experience
- Ensure security and prevent abuse
- Comply with legal obligations (where required)
5. Cookies and Tracking
Gone.wtf uses minimal cookies and local storage for essential functionality:
- Theme preferences: Stores your dark/light mode selection
- Wallet connection: Temporarily stores wallet adapter state
- Stats cache: Caches public statistics for performance
We do NOT use:
- Third-party analytics (Google Analytics, etc.)
- Advertising cookies or trackers
- Social media tracking pixels
- Cross-site tracking mechanisms
6. Third-Party Services
The Service interacts with third-party services that have their own privacy policies:
6.1 Solana Network
All transactions are processed on the public Solana blockchain. Solana validators and RPC providers may log transaction data and IP addresses according to their own policies.
6.2 Wallet Providers
When you connect a wallet (Phantom, Solflare, etc.), you're subject to that wallet provider's privacy policy. We recommend reviewing their policies.
6.3 RPC Providers
The Service uses Solana RPC endpoints (Helius, QuickNode, or public endpoints) to interact with the blockchain. These providers may log requests and IP addresses.
6.4 Hosting Services
Our website is hosted on cloud infrastructure (Vercel, etc.) that may process technical data such as IP addresses and request headers for service delivery.
7. Data Security
Security measures we implement:
- Client-side encryption for withdrawal notes (never transmitted to servers)
- HTTPS/TLS encryption for all connections
- No central database storing user information
- Open-source smart contracts auditable by anyone
- Regular security updates and monitoring
However: No system is 100% secure. You are responsible for:
- Securing your wallet withdrawal credentials
- Safely storing your withdrawal notes
- Using secure internet connections
- Keeping your devices free from malware
8. Data Retention
Gone.wtf follows a minimal data retention policy:
- Transaction requests are processed in real-time and not permanently stored
- Technical logs may be retained for up to 7 days for debugging purposes
- Aggregated, anonymized statistics may be retained indefinitely
- Blockchain data is permanent and outside our control
9. Your Privacy Rights
Since we don't collect personal information, traditional data subject rights (access, deletion, portability) are largely not applicable. However:
- You can use the Service anonymously without creating an account
- You can clear local storage in your browser at any time
- You control your blockchain transactions through your wallet
- You can stop using the Service at any time without consequences
10. Children's Privacy
The Service is not intended for users under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children. If you believe a child has used the Service, please contact us.
11. International Users
The Service is accessible globally. By using the Service, you consent to the processing of information as described in this policy, regardless of your location.
Note: Some jurisdictions have specific regulations regarding privacy tools. You are responsible for ensuring your use of the Service complies with local laws.
12. Legal Disclosures
We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or legal process. However, given our minimal data collection:
- We do not have user identities to disclose
- We do not have transaction histories linked to individuals
- Blockchain data is already public and accessible to law enforcement
- We cannot "freeze" or "reverse" transactions (they're on-chain)
13. Privacy Limitations
Important Disclaimers:
- The Service enhances privacy but does not guarantee complete anonymity
- Blockchain analysis may still be able to link transactions
- Your ISP, VPN provider, or RPC provider may log your IP address
- Wallet providers may track your activity
- Social engineering or operational security failures can compromise privacy
- Future technological advances may reduce privacy protections
14. Do Not Track
We respect Do Not Track (DNT) signals. Since we don't use tracking technologies, DNT settings don't affect functionality, but we honor the privacy intent behind them.
15. Changes to Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated "Last Updated" date. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
Material changes that reduce your privacy protections will be prominently announced on the Service.
16. Contact and Transparency
For questions about this Privacy Policy or our privacy practices:

Privacy Best Practices
To maximize your privacy when using Gone.wtf:
- Use a VPN or Tor to hide your IP address
- Use a fresh wallet address not linked to your identity
- Wait random time periods between deposits and withdrawals
- Withdraw to different addresses than you deposit from
- Store withdrawal notes securely and privately
- Don't reuse patterns that could link transactions
- Be aware of on-chain timing analysis
- Use browser privacy modes or dedicated privacy browsers
Remember: Privacy is a holistic practice. This Service is one tool in a broader privacy toolkit. No single tool provides perfect anonymity.
